Port
Monitor
Port Monitor was designed for preventing
someone from connecting various hardware devices to your computer
while you're not present.
Port Monitor detects any attempt of connecting
external or internal hardware to your computer and blocks/disables
the functioning of that device until the access password is
confirmed.
While in case of the external hardware Port
Monitor traces the activity of the external ports (USB, COM,
LPT, PS/2 and IRD), preventing internal hardware modifications
is based on a device configuration list: any changes of the
current hardware configuration must be confirmed by typing
in the access password, which unlocks the new-added hardware
device. |
